Through Electric Paper Ltd, its wholly-owned subsidiary, evasys GmbH has a UK office (staff based in Edinburgh and London) providing dedicated implementation, training , first-line customer support and account management to HE and FE institutions across the UK and Ireland, supported by the support, development, technical and training teams in Germany.

History

Established in 1996 in Lüneburg, Germany, evasys GmbH has grown year-on-year and now has over 60 employees in both Germany, Switzerland and the UK. evasys GmbH is an international company with partnerships in the USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa and continental Europe. It has been a market-leading supplier of survey and exam software for over 25 years, with 1000 customers worldwide (two-thirds of whom are Education Institutions)

Bruce Johnson
Managing Director

Bruce has worked within universities, both large and small, for more than 20 years – including 14 years heading Student Systems with the Academic Registry at a large Russell Group university (this included responsibility for in-house student record systems and, latterly, SITS)

He has significant experience of academic and professional services within higher education, as well as the management of surveys, survey systems and associated processes, including integrating downstream and upstream systems. 

As a previous customer of evasys, Bruce brings a higher education perspective to the delivery of our services, with a particular focus on the continuous improvement of service levels and responsiveness.

Dr Helena Lim B

Dr Helena Lim
Head of Opportunities

For more than 25 years, Helena has held senior roles in the UK higher education sector, at institutions including Southampton Solent University and the Higher Education Academy. She has lectured at Solent, University of Bath and the Open University, and held Honorary Fellowships with University of Liverpool and Aberystwyth University.

With her strong background in institutional research, Helena was the founder of the UK and Ireland Higher Education Institutional Research (HEIR) and was Co-Convenor of the European Association for Institutional Research (EAIR) Special Interest on Institutional Research for Management Decision Support from 2008 to 2015.

As a teaching and research academic with extensive experience working with universities to enhance the student experience, Helena has put in place institutional approaches to gathering and analysing data in institutions across the UK. She is passionate about effecting change and enhancing the student learning journey.

Glenda saint John

Glenda Saint John
Head of Engagement

With almost ten years of experience working within the higher education sector – six within a university, and four with a software provider to HE institutions – Glenda has extensive experience of integrating technology with strategic and operational needs in a university context.

As Head of Customer Success at Solutionpath, she developed and led on strategic customer success initiatives and retention activities across the full client base. At York St John University, she was the Head of School Administration Unit responsible for delivering efficient programme administration processes and systems as a new central service.

Glenda also held the role of Projects and Business Analyst in IT and was a senior advocate for continuous improvement. She brings this knowledge and enthusiasm to bear in helping evasys customers to achieve maximum impact from our software solutions.

Conor Murray-Gauld
Implementation and Account Manager

Conor has worked within policy and student engagement within further and higher education for more than ten years, including four years with London Metropolitan University as Student Engagement Manager.  As the evasys lead during his time at London Met, Conor gained significant operational experience of surveys and associated data management, developing survey policy, and producing analysis and insights for the senior leadership team that ultimately led to strategic change. He brings all of that experience to bear when helping evasys clients implement and enhance evaluation processes and systems.

With a BSc in Information Systems from Heriot-Watt University, Conor has worked across a number of educational institutions and organisations, including Edinburgh College Students’ Association, the QAA and University of Westminster Students’ Union in addition to London Metropolitan University.

Conor is focused on delivering swift and successful implementations for new evasys customers and working with existing customers to achieve increased analysis and insights from their evaluations.
