Driving the Future of Student Voice: the evasys and Student Voice AI advantage
RAISE Conference 4-5 September 2025, University of Glasgow
This September, higher education leaders, researchers and practitioners in student engagement will gather at the RAISE Conference 2025, hosted by the University of Glasgow. With this year’s theme focusing on the changing landscape of student voice, the conference promises fresh insights into how institutions can better understand, support and engage their students
We’re delighted to share that evasys will once again be attending and sponsoring the event. Our Managing Director, Bruce Johnson, will be joined by Dr Stuart Grey, CEO of our key partner Student Voice AI, both at the event and on the evasys exhibition stand. Bruce and Stuart will be delighted to explain how two leading technologies can work in tandem to transform the way institutions listen to, analyse and act on student feedback.
A partnership that brings greater impact
At evasys, our mission has always been to help universities and colleges gather and act on student feedback through powerful, user-friendly survey and insight solutions. Partnering with Student Voice AI takes this mission a step further, adding advanced machine learning and sentiment analysis to the mix.
Together, evasys and Student Voice AI provide institutions with a holistic view of student engagement – from quantitative survey data to rich, nuanced analysis of open-text responses. This partnership ensures that every student voice is not only heard, but meaningfully understood. Thematic coding of free-texts comments, delivered through interactive evasys dashboards, also allows institutions to identify strategic change opportunities that drive enhancement.
The people behind the partnership
While technology provides the tools, it’s the expertise behind them that creates real impact.

Bruce Johnson, Managing Director of evasys, brings deep experience in educational technology and a long-standing commitment to improving student engagement across the higher education sector. With many years of experience working in and for higher education, Bruce has an innate understanding of the challenges and processes within institutions. His leadership ensures evasys continues to innovate while staying true to the needs of institutions and students alike.

Dr Stuart Grey, CEO of Student Voice AI, brings a unique dual perspective. As both a technology leader and a senior lecturer in Engineering Systems Design at the University of Glasgow, Stuart works at the heart of higher education. His ongoing academic role means he has first-hand insight into the challenges institutions face and the realities of the student experience – making Student Voice AI’s solutions truly grounded in practice.
What’s planned for RAISE 2025?
The RAISE Conference provides a vital space for sharing ideas, best practice and research into student engagement. As the landscape continues to evolve – shaped by digital transformation, generative AI, financial challenges and new expectations from students – collaborations like the one between evasys and Student Voice AI will be essential in helping institutions keep pace.
We’re excited to join the conversation in Glasgow this September and to showcase how our partnership is enabling institutions to gain deeper insights, make more informed decisions and, ultimately, enhance the student experience.
