As detailed in our recent blog, the publication of the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) student satisfaction survey results in November 2023 highlighted a number of important issues for Scotland’s Further Education (FE) colleges.

While overall student satisfaction across Scotland’s FE colleges was at a 5-year high, there were lower satisfaction levels around student suggestions, communications, feedback and engagement.

The evasys SFC Survey Insights webinar

In this 30-minute webinar, we discussed the issues raised in the SFC student satisfaction survey results and walked our participants through the ways in which the evasys survey and insights platform could help them to increase satisfaction around specifics statements such as:

  • I believe student suggestions are taken seriously

  • I am able to influence learning on my course

  • I receive useful feedback on my course

  • Any change in my course or teaching has been communicated well

  • I feel that I am part of the college community

Additionally, we provided insights on how to increase response rates for student surveys.
