Student evaluation and assessment specialist EvaSys today announced that Letterkenny Institute of Technology is the latest higher education institution to deploy its course and module survey and evaluation solution.
With more than 4,000 students and two separate campuses in County Donegal, Ireland, Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) has chosen EvaSys to create efficiency and consistency when engaging students in providing feedback through its Learner Module Survey on modules across all schools within the institution.
LYIT will integrate EvaSys with the institution’s VLE, Blackboard, and mail server to facilitate ease of survey response from across the student body and ensure that aggregated reporting on satisfaction with teaching and learning is easily accessible to module leaders, heads of department, School heads and institutional management teams. Additionally, in-built quantitative and qualitative analysis tools within EvaSys will enable a proactive approach to monitoring and improvement.
LYIT joins a growing list of EvaSys customers on the island of Ireland that includes the National College of Ireland and Dundalk Institute of Technology in Ireland, and Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland.
Bruce Johnson, MD at EvaSys, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome LYIT to the EvaSys family and look forward to evidencing the results that will be delivered through our survey and evaluation tools. It’s a critical time for student engagement and wellbeing right across higher education, so ensuring that students are learning effectively and coping with the current challenges in student life has never been so important. The actionable insights provided by EvaSys will enhance the LYIT approach in proactively listening to the student voice.”
