Our Managing Director, Bruce Johnson, will be the keynote speaker at Instructure’s next EdTech Collective event.
Instructure – the company behind the leading Canvas LMS solution for higher education – launched the EdTech Collective programme in July for its community of 500+ global partners. As part of that programme, a series of livestreamed events that provide insights on getting the most out of Canvas and its partner products.
EdTech Collective Event – 9th December 2021
Taking place on Thursday 9th December at 5.30 pm UK time (12.30 pm EST), the next event is titled Closing the Student Feedback Loop and will see Bruce explain how quickly and easily evasys integrates with Canvas to offer in-built lecturer reflection on survey responses, as well as offer to tips on using evasys within your Learning Management System (LMS) or Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to drive up survey response rates.
The importance of hearing, acknowledging and acting on the student voice is at a truly critical level – in the UK alone, the worst performing National Student Survey (NSS) question was around how clear it was that student feedback on a course had been acted on.
Letting students know that their feedback is being acted on or – just as importantly – not acted on and why, is an essential step in driving up confidence that your institution listens to what students say. And during this session, Bruce will explain how the evasys Closing The Loop feature works to streamline the acknowledgement process in response to student feedback.
