London School of Science & Technology chooses evasys
We are very pleased to announce our latest client partnership with the London School of Science and Technology (LSST), a private HE provider specialising in business management, IT and health/social care.

LSST operates from five modern campuses across London, Luton and Birmingham, serving 8,000 students who have chosen a different approach to the traditional student experience and prefer to have flexible study options that fit round other commitments.
The institution was gathering a lot of feedback from students on their experiences of teaching and learning, and the support they were receiving, however the process was disjointed and leadership wanted to capture data in a more meaningful way. They were also keen to have the gathered data more easily accessible and to put in place a systematic process for closing the feedback loop with students.
Additionally, the emergence of concepts including educational gains and LSST’s growth trajectory from a smaller provider to the size of the institution now meant that a more robust and methodical approach to capturing student voice was required.
Why LSST selected evasys for student surveys and insights
LSST required a survey platform that would bring together meaningful data capture, closing the feedback loop and data accessibility, as well as alleviate survey fatigue and provide inclusion in the process for academic staff.
Charlie Tennant, Vice Principal at LSST, said:
LSST’s new, centralised survey system from evasys will remove a lot of manual data processing, meaning that reporting and analysis can happen in less than a week after survey close, rather than taking a month or more. This will allow the institution to be more proactive in acting on student feedback when sentiment is still fresh, rather than later down the line when things have perhaps moved on in the student lifecycle.
What LSST will be using evasys to achieve
In terms of evasys capabilities, LSST will be utilising the evasys Survey Creator to enable more dynamic surveys, the VLE integration to ensure that students enjoy a seamless experience when undertaking surveys, real time response rate monitoring to get a clear picture of where students are in the journey with individual surveys and the all-important closing the loop feature to make sure that students know their voices are being heard. Additionally, LSST will be able to have immediate access to results as soon as a survey has closed, and will be using the evasys Student Survey Portal, which allows for use of QR codes to provide extra survey access points for students.
Charlie commented:
At LSST, evasys will initially be used for module evaluation, mid-term surveys and end of term surveys. At programme level LSST will use the solution to understand educational gains and will be looking at evasys to replace some other surveys around careers.
The aim is to achieve a really in-depth understanding of strengths and weaknesses, allowing the institution to enhance strengths in programme and module delivery. This will empower academic staff to take decisions on delivery adjustment and ownership. As Charlie comments, “if you look after your modules, the programmes will look after themselves.”
Ultimately, having evasys in place will allow LSST to have a better understanding of what they are doing, what they are not doing and what they need to do in order to get to where they want to be.
