evasys is pleased to be the official event sponsor of this year’s RAISE Annual Conference, taking place 11-12 September at University of Leicester.
RAISE (Researching, Advancing and Inspiring Student Engagement) is a worldwide network of staff and students in Higher Education who have an interest in the research and promotion of student engagement. The organisation’s annual conference offers the opportunity for all students, staff and anyone interested in university and college higher education to showcase their practice and research.
The 2024 RAISE Conference theme is Equity in Attainment & Student Success, drawing together new and returning delegates to network and share work in student engagement which addresses accessibility, equitable opportunities and celebrates diversity.

How evasys can enhance student engagement and support student equity
Understanding students and listening to their voices, as well as acting on them, are critical components of achieving equity in attainment and student success. Engaging with students through surveys and evaluation uncovers actionable insights that can be used to enhance the student experience for all students within an institution.
The evasys survey and insights solution is used by more than sixty UK and Irish universities across a wide range of survey areas, including (but not limited to!) module and course evaluation, pre-arrival, induction, student belonging, wellbeing, first year and post graduate surveys. The data collected from these surveys ensures that changes and enhancements can be made in response, acknowledging student viewpoints, improving the student experience and positively impacting student success.
Dr Helena Lim, Academic Lead and Head of Opportunities with evasys will be on-hand throughout the event to discuss the innovative ways that evasys is being used across the HE sector in the UK and Ireland to ensure that all students arrive and thrive at university.
