evasys is a proud supporter of The Spinnaker Group
The Spinnaker Group is a volunteer-run membership group, set up by Professor Harriet Dunbar-Morris of University of Buckingham. The group brings together higher education colleagues who lead on student experience and teaching and learning to discuss best practice, ideas, and outlook.
Twice a year, members of the Spinnaker Group get together for a face to face event to discuss current topics in student experience and teaching and learning and to hear from experts in the chosen theme for that event.
The next Spinnaker Group meeting takes place on 16th and 17th May at University of Buckingham, and evasys is delighted to support the event, as well as provide a guest speaker during dinner – Dr Helena Lim.
Student Voice and Engagement Mechanisms
Working to a theme of ‘Student Voice and Engagement Mechanisms’, the upcoming Spinnaker Group meeting will see members from across the UK come together to enjoy dinner, drinks and networking on Thursday 16th May, followed by presentations, workshops and knowledge sharing on Friday 17th May
Helena Lim from evasys is thrilled to fill the guest speaker slot during Thursday’s dinner, and will talk about online learning and wellbeing with the aim of sparking discussions throughout the rest of the event.
Dr Harriet Dunbar-Morris recently wrote an article for Advance HE where she talks more about the group’s aims, objectives and impact to date. The article can be found on the Advance HE website.
