University of York selects evasys to strengthen module evaluation and student feedback
evasys is pleased to announce that the University of York has selected evasys as its institution-wide platform for module evaluation and student feedback, following a competitive procurement process through a Softcat Framework Agreement.
Why York chose evasys
University of York went to market with two clear priorities:
- 1
Closing the feedback loop for students, addressing NSS results that showed low confidence that feedback led to action
- 2
Creating institutional consistency and oversight, replacing multiple tools and approaches used across 28 departments
After reviewing competitor platforms, speaking with peer institutions and running live demonstrations, York selected evasys for its higher-education expertise, confidence in delivery and value for money.
Professor Steve King, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education and Students), commented:

Next steps for University of York and evasys
With module evaluation now embedded, York plans to extend evasys to programme-level, pulse and institution-wide surveys, supporting a broader cultural shift toward transparent, action-led student feedback. Additionally, the university is considering use of the evasys/Student Voice AI partnership to gather machine learning AI analysis of open comments.
